If you’re someone that doesn’t like or doesn’t watch anime, this pack may not appeal to you for reasons we’ll go over shortly. Well, we’ve got good news for you since that’s exactly what we’ll be talking about today with the anime texture pack for Minecraft. And if you’re someone who enjoys anime as well as Minecraft, there’s a good chance you’ve wondered yourself what Minecraft would be like with a more anime-style aesthetic. Fast forward to today and it’s nearly impossible to find an adult male who hasn’t watched and enjoyed classic anime shows like Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon. Anime culture has been around for far longer than that, but we’d argue that around this time, and during the late 90s, anime really started to take its roots in modern culture.

Anime has come a long way since it became a big deal in the early 2000s.

WARNING: This resource pack IS NOT compatible with any other resource packs that make changes to paintings. I apologize if this inconveniences anyone who was looking to get the latest version of this resource pack while staying in an older version of the game, however, I will be leaving the downloads for the previous version of this pack up, of which has less photos.

Meaning the minimum version of the game that the latest update of this resource pack (v1.0.2) is compatible with is v1.13.0. Note: In the latest version of Minecraft as of writing this (v1.13.0) the manifest files are now in version 2.

The art contained within the addon is not mine and was adapted as needed so it could be implemented into the game. This texture pack changes ALL of the paintings in Minecraft to higher resolution anime related ones instead.
